Accessibility at Trajekt
Accessibility and accessible communication policy.
We want Trajekt's information, website, app, and support experiences to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or experience disability-related barriers.

Our commitment
Trajekt is committed to identifying, removing, and preventing barriers so that people with disabilities can access our information, digital services, and customer support with dignity and independence.
We design our accessibility practices with Manitoba's accessibility requirements in mind, including The Accessibility for Manitobans Act and applicable accessibility standards. Nothing in this policy limits any right or accommodation available under applicable human rights or accessibility law.
Website and digital accessibility
Our goal is for Trajekt web content and web applications within our control to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. When we build or materially update digital experiences, we also use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a forward-looking design and testing target where practical.
Our accessibility work includes keyboard access, visible focus states, semantic structure, text alternatives for meaningful images, sufficient colour contrast, accessible forms and status messages, support for browser zoom and responsive layouts, and reduced-motion preferences.
Accessible information and communication supports
You may ask us to provide information in an accessible format or through a communication support. We will consult with you to identify a format or support that addresses the barrier and will provide it in a timely manner where reasonably possible.
Examples can include large-print or accessible electronic information, plain-language clarification, or another communication support appropriate to the request. We do not charge an additional fee because an accessible format or communication support was requested.
Accessible customer service
We aim to provide customer service in a way that respects the dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity of people with disabilities. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate in a way that takes a person's disability-related needs into account.
Where an accessibility barrier affects the way you can use Trajekt or receive support, tell us what barrier you encountered and what would make the interaction more accessible for you.
Accessibility feedback and barrier reporting
We welcome feedback about accessibility barriers in our website, app, information, communications, and customer service. Feedback may be provided by emailing support@trajekt.ca with the subject line Accessibility feedback.
If possible, tell us what you were trying to do, where the barrier occurred, the browser, device, or assistive technology involved, and what would have made the experience work better. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or other unnecessary medical information.
We review accessibility feedback, document resulting actions as appropriate, and use that feedback to help prioritize remediation. You can also begin through our Support page.
Third-party content and services
Some Trajekt experiences may rely on third-party platforms or services that we do not fully control. We consider accessibility when selecting and configuring those services and will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative when a third-party limitation creates a barrier.
Training and ongoing improvement
People who communicate with the public on Trajekt's behalf, develop or maintain web content, procure relevant technology, or help implement accessibility practices receive accessibility guidance or training appropriate to their responsibilities. Training is refreshed when our practices or applicable requirements materially change.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review new and updated content, test key user journeys, respond to reported barriers, and update our practices as Trajekt grows.
